Preamble Please: I am so angry at Microsoft Documentation and general web forums on ASP.NETcore and EF Core guides on Visual code for Linux.
First I had several issues relating to SSL and MSSQL incompatibilities, getting past all that was exceptionally exhaustive..
I've been meaning to build a simple WebApp (Started with MVC cos I thought it'd be like Laravel - it's nothing like Lar*) to register users, grant authentication for these users and configure authorization for certain aspects of the application. This has really transitioned me through several challenges too difficult to keep to myself. My questions goes thus:
Please is/are there real documentation(s) on Entity framework Core 2.2( I couldnt get 3.0 versions to work with MSSQL and nuget packages) detailing the following: (a). Creating Dbcontext (this I can do well now), (b). Visualize the database created by this context, (c). Creating an Identity class for my Employee Model. e.g Is it like this (Employee : Identity) ?? (d). Using/merging/connecting my already existing DB with my Model class for storing and retrieval.
Can I get a ASP NET Core Mentor on here?? I'm just starting with .NET Core and I like it for its security concepts. I just need a push. I do research a lot.
N.B
The truth is on Microsoft and all other forums, everyone wants to click click and get a database context working with Identity and all that stuff. I mean how does Microsoft assume everyone uses Microsoft for design. Whats the point of supporting Windows Subsystem on Linux if there are no good manuals to use for it.
I do not want clicking related answers. I prefer directives / or a plain documentation (only in Linux context) to lead me into achieving these. Please kindly help, I'm on the verge of loosing my $#!T off this.
